Review : The Faceshop Blueberry Face Mask

Today my review is on one of my favorite beauty companies ever! The Faceshop is a South Korean based company that produces a range of beauty products from makeup, skin care, hair care to nail care.  As they have a few stalls here in Sri lanka I have already used their nail polishes quite a few times and I absolutely fell in love with it. Therefore when the lovely management from Faceshop wanted to send me their products I was way over the moon and the milky-way to be precise.

The product I will be reviewing today is their Blueberry face mask that is claimed to be an instant moisturizing treatment for your skin (further product details are mentioned at the end of the article).

♡ First impression

  • To start off with the packaging, it's just like any sheet mask cover. It's well sealed and compatible.

  • As soon as I ripped it open all I could focus was on the gush of an heavenly fruity smell. Quite the way to catch someone's first impression.
  • The sheet mask surprised me. It was drenched with a soaking quantity of a thick translucent serum. And at this point I was so sure I will be using this one mask way more than once. I mean who with a sane mind will throw this away without scraping it off? Oh girl when it comes to beauty products I am stingy with no shame *smirk*
  • The sheet was well cut and trimmed in a way it perfectly aligns on any face (unlike most other sheet masks)
♡ Instructions

"The mask sheet with Blueberry essence replenishes skin's moisture barrier to protect its energy and vitality and help create baby-soft skin (drenched with with emulsified moisturizing serum/ formula without added parabins)"

Directions: "1. Wash face and apply toner. 2. Pull out mask and carefully place on face. 3. Remove after 10 to 15 minutes and pat face lightly to absorb remaining essence into the skin"

♡ Results
  • Once I peeled off the mask after 10-15 minutes and massaged the remaining serum on my face and neck, I realized this ain't a normal serum. This is more like a hydro-boosting serum that is super thick and gives a weird yet oh-god-amazing silky smoothness to the face.
  • Even after letting the serum sit on my face for 2-3 hours there was still a lot of moisture on my face; however surprisingly with no much greasiness.
  • As planned I applied the left over serum goodness in the packet on my face for 2 days and 2 nights in a row. And the results amazed me! I have a combination skin which makes my t-zone oily and my u-zone super dry. But this mask made my skin equally moisturized in all areas. Not to forget the bouncy, firm plumpness. My face felt so healthily hydrated and baby soft that made me keep touching it throughout the day.
Pros
  • Reasonable price per mask
  • Does more than what it claims. Amazing moisturizing results with baby soft skin!
  • No animal testing done on any product!! (Can this brand get any better? So much of love)
  • Safe enough to be used on sensitive skin
  • High-end internationally recognized product quality
  • Can be reused quite a few times if you make sure your face is well cleansed each time you use it
  • This mask serum made me fall in love with it to a point I have already decided to purchase one of their moisturizing serums for my daily skincare routine.
Cons
  • As much as I love the fruity scent, it could be a bit overpowering when kept for hours on your face.

  5. Mask, experts suggest that you should stand a minimum of 6 feet away from a person who is already infected. This will increase your chances of keeping your safe against the infection. So, it's better to stand or sit at least 6 feet away from the person you are talking to. polypropylene spunbond non woven fabric
